Try Before You Buy
Buying a campervan is a big decision, and truth be told, one of the hardest parts is knowing what layout, features, and style of van will actually suit you once you get out there and use it properly.
That is exactly why we offer our Try Before You Buy experience.
Rather than spending a serious amount of money and then discovering the bed is too small, the seating does not work for you, or the layout is not quite right, you can first hire one of our carefully designed campervans and put it through its paces in the real world. Take it away for a proper weekend, a family break, or a longer adventure, and get a genuine feel for what works for you and what does not.
It is a far more sensible way to buy.
You get the chance to experience:
- how the van drives
- how the sleeping layout works in practice
- whether the kitchen setup suits your style of travel
- how much off-grid capability you actually need
- what level of comfort, storage, and flexibility really matters to you
For many people, this can save a costly mistake and help shape the perfect van build from the outset.
Better still, if you do decide to move forward with a campervan purchase from us, we can discuss putting part of your hire cost towards your build, making the whole process feel even more worthwhile.
Our aim is simple:
to help you make the right decision with confidence, based on real experience rather than guesswork.
At Pimp My Camper, we believe a campervan should fit your lifestyle properly, not the other way round. Our Try Before You Buy package gives you the chance to test the dream before committing to it, and to enjoy a cracking trip in the process.

Description
This is a wonderfully flexible campervan layout designed for people who actually want to use their van properly, whether that means weekends away, longer adventures, or simply having a far more comfortable setup than the usual compromise.
Inside, the van offers five travelling seats, thanks to the clever Flexi Lounge seating arrangement, while the sleeping setup is one of its real strong points. The two Flexi Lounge seats can be used as two separate single beds, ideal for flexibility, but they can also slide together to create a double bed if preferred, giving you a layout that can adapt to different trips and different people. Up above, the deluxe Froli spring pop-top roof bed gives two adults a genuinely comfortable sleeping area, making this a very capable family or couples’ touring van.
Round the back, you have a smart and highly usable rear galley kitchen, built around a modern off-grid, gasless setup. With a 2-burner induction hob, integrated sink with hot and cold water, 70L fridge, and even sockets ready for a Ninja Air Fryer, it is a setup that feels properly thought through for real-world camping rather than just looking nice in photos.
The off-grid capability is equally strong, with a 3000W pure sine wave inverter, 450W solar panel, and 320Ah lithium battery system, giving you the sort of electrical setup that lets you use the van with confidence. Add in 70 liters of onboard water, 7 liters of hot water via the diesel heater or immersion, blackout blinds, a pull-out awning, tailgate speakers with LED lights, and a rear shower tent area, and you’ve got a campervan that feels modern, versatile, and properly enjoyable to own.
